Curriculum
The NSCA course is a set of lessons that have been used for centuries in classical training. Working at their own pace, students advance through these lessons in a series of stages. There is no set timeframe - but as a general parameter, these stages can be equated to a four-year program.

Year 1: Bargue copys and Cast drawing
Year 2: Cast drawing and painting, still life painting, and portrait drawing
Year 3: Cast painting, still life painting, and portrait painting
Year 4: Portrait painting and complex still life painting

All Levels: Figure drawing and painting

Daily Routine
Students are offered critiques Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
once each in the morning and afternoon sessions.

Anatomy Class: Wednesday 1pm

Final Critique
At the end of each trimester, each student receives a final critique. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to review their work as a whole; point out strengths and weaknesses; and determine areas of focus for their next trimester.
